Charlottesville Tennis Pro Shop

We always find everything we need here and have always had great service. This weekend the staff went above and beyond. My son needed new shoes during a college match at W&L and the team at Charlottesville Pro Shop ensured we got them on EXTREMELY short notice so that he could play on the second day of the tourney. Thanks to all of this team, he was able to play!

I recently took a racket I bought used in to be restrung and they took amazing care of me. For no added cost they polished, repainted, and fixed a number of cracks and other cosmetic damages. They also finished it a day earlier than anticipated, even as they put in more work than was expected. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received for the price I paid, and I now know where I will be going for all my tennis gear and repair needs.

This store is phenomenal. My experience here has consistently exceeded expectations. The staff doesn't just service equipment—they treat it with the kind of care and attention as if it were their own. I brought in a racket to be restrung, and was astounded by their thoroughness. Not only did they string it perfectly, but they also painted it, filled in the cracks, and put on a protective coating when I picked it up it shined better than the day I bought it. Just an awesome team that is not only skilled but also incredibly welcoming and patient. This store and those like it are why you shop local. The personal service and the pride they take in what they do makes a difference. Will never go anywhere else.

Lew is the best! Unrivaled customer service and priceless advice from his wealth of knowledge. He is doing a great job of operating a very small business in this climate of big box and online marketplaces. All too soon places like this will be a thing of the past if we don't shop with them. His prices are fair, and you can demo different racquets and paddles before you buy. The personal service you get from stopping by and talking to him is not to be found anywhere else and is worth every penny. I cannot recommend this place more highly!
